I have had my female beta fish for like 4 months and she's an irridesent pink color. She was young when i bough her and she was very active. Now she has a long white spot from gill to gill and she seems to just sit ther without moving. Shewill eat when i feed her and comes to the glass when u tap the bowl. She is in a One gallon thank and her water is changed completly once every 2 days. PLEASE HELP!!! IS SHE SICK????

Any chance of a picture? Is the white fuzzy, or more of a discolored area? Does she have a heater and do you know the temperature of the bowl? Do you have a liquid water test kit? It is usually a good place to start with temp. ammonia, nitrite, and nitrate levels.
