Hmm a sorority I would suggest a 10 gallon or larger. Females can be just as aggressive as males can! So if you're not going to do the proper research first, I would hold off on that and just get the 7 and split it Or you can give your girl the entire 7 gallons haha, she'd certainly love that! And don't worry, they don't need company or anything, they'll just love to interact with you any chance they can get!

Not a problem! You can never know enough I'm still learning details as well although I do know quite a bit as well. Of course you kind of have to with 20 Betta's haha

3 girls is still a catch 22 just because there's not enough girls for the aggression to go around, you know? I'd settle with a 5-6 minimum but more preferably in a bigger tank and of course, hiding plants and LOTS of plants are key!

But yes, one Betta would absolutely love all 7 gallons to itself!

how many gallons would i need for 5-6bettas? and could a 7gallon tank work with 5bettas if it had a big filter and lots of hiding places? and yes i know, its like you never, NEVER stop learning when you have fish..you have 20bettas? how many tanks?
