Even with dividers, if the male and females are in the same tank, their hormones will be detected in the water...this can cause issues as well. Just a heads up.

I know but they can physically see each other at the moment. Atlas is just ignoring the girls (hey the girls aren't fighting anymore!) and I'm planning on getting some taller plants for my tank. Again, I'm just trying to make it easier on my boyfriend while I'm gone. :) But once I get back, I'll have the 2.5 gallon tank open! MOOOORE! Darn those cute little bettas...:D

Oh hurr durr I forgot about your boyfriend. The hormones haven't kicked into the water, but just take the warning with a grain of salt I suppose. Lol. Glad your girls aren't fighting anymore, though!!! (:

I know but I'm hoping that everything will be ok! :) Otherwise I have to go grab tall plants! haha Yeah they are too distracted by him... :D
