Holy crap (pun intended) that scared me...

So we just put Handsome Jack in his tank after a water change, and about 5 minutes later we went to check on him and he had something huge hanging out of him. Seriously massive. It looked like a big brown chunk of dirt on a brown string hanging out of him. He was swimming frantically and flaring madly at us. We thought maybe he was really sick and crapped out his intestines. We started panicking. And then it fell off. Heart almost stopped. Then he stopped swimming frantically, stopped flaring, and was acting normal. It was like, severe constipation or an impacted turd or something. THESE FISH WANT US TO DIE OF HEART ATTACKS I SWEAR.

In the picture here, it's the thing that looks like a small bullrush.

Lol. Flaring often gets them to have big poops. I've fixed a slightly/mildly bloated betta by showing him a mirror... Lol.

The thing was the size of like 9 pellets combined. No idea how he pooped it out in the first place. He's fine now. Maybe its the pellets? Tiny Tina is eating the same thing and she's fine... Omega One Betta Buffet.

My last rescue did the same thing! He'd been bloated for two months at his previous home, and after two weeks of treatment he had a GIANT poop. I also wondered how in the heck he got that out... Haha. By the way, I love the name, which I assume is a Borderlands 2 reference. ;)
