Could / Would it Be Okay . ?

I Have Just Recieved A Baby Betta From A Friend Of Mine Who Got It From Petco Last Week . He Said it Was TOO Much Responsibility . I Only Have A Ten/10 Gallon Tank Though . NO Other Tanks Availible . Would A 10 Gallon Tank Be To Big For A Baby(Juvenile) Betta .?

Extra info: He's About The Same Size As Most Babies That You See in Petco .
I Need An Answer Pretty Fast So i Could Know If I Need To Cycle My 10 Gallon Or Get A Smaller Tank .

Thanks in Advance . (:

The tank size is great. Just be careful of how much filtration you use till he gets bigger.

I don't see why it would be an issue. Just more space for the little squirt to grow. I've got what appears to be an 8 week old CT in a 10 gallon right now and she's perfectly happy.
