Unhappy Swim In Peace Sparta.

So last night I noticed sparta was being very lathargic and had a strange pinkish band near his middle. So not having an extra hospial tank or heater I cupped him and floated him as he was having issues coming up for air. As he was perfectly fine and happy yesterday I didn't think much of it. Today at 8:00am Cental Standard Time My dear Sparta was gone.

I think the stress from the attack is what ultimately got him. He wasn't ever really the same after that. He perked up for a bit but not much. I'm gonna miss that little booger. He was my most friendly betta.

I'm so sorry that Sparta died! I know how difficult it is to lose a betta. He was a beautiful guy with a great name too! I'm sure he lived a happy life with you as his owner.

Thank you all. I had a little funeral for him. I dug him a little grave in our pet cemetary out back (everyone has a tomb stone). I couldn't bring myself to flush him. :/
