Good job getting a heater! I'm sure he loves you so much for it .(:


Now, it would be even better if you could acquire a bigger tank though. More swimming room, less water changes, more decor! The one suggested above was fantastic and pretty cheap. Can you further explain what you mean by having him for only a month?

The Pet store said to feed him 4 Pebble a day, i got this food it is Small pebbels, i feed him in the morning and he eats them right up, but befor i go to bed i give him 1 pebble

I have my guy in a 2 gallon, its filled with rocks and plants and he loves it. I also have another one in a 1 gallon tetra half moon tank and equally seems happy. I just didn't fill it with unnecessary stuff. You can also look at flea markets if you are interested in a bigger home. I got gallon brand new, unwrapped for 5 bucks. The other tank wasn't quite so cheap.

Your on the right path and even more so since he got a heater.
