Rusty's Tank

Thank you RussellTheShihTzu for giving Rusty's home an A. The only thing I have to change is get a tall plant for the right side. Lately at times he attacks his reflection, because he thinks another betta fish is invading his home. I will go to PetSmart as soon as I can. He flares his fins and pecks at the side.

Now I truly understand why male bettas need to be left alone in one tank for the most part so as I read in the two books I have on betta care.

I too have a Shih Tzu/Maltese mix dog named Kobe.

+1 Cowboy! Very good food and excellent care.

Do you have a Craig's List? If so, it's a good place to buy used (and sometimes new) tanks for real cheap.

Also...Fan Fair just finished. (I just a few miles fromr Nashville.)

Country: Why don't you put Kobe's photo on the "Finless Friends"?

Good job on the food, but I'm going to suggest picking up freeze dried blood worms as well and freed him some of those twice a week. Bettas can be pretty picky. I had these pellets for my betta and after 2 weeks he refused to eat them. I started feeding him blood worms and now he eats his food without being picky and his colors brightened.

Instead of freeze dried, I would suggest frozen bloodworms, daphnia, etc. But think of them as a "treat." Frozen has more nutrition than freeze dried.

I'll have to remember "Wake up Brain." Usually I blame Senior Moments.
