Doesn't make too much of a difference though because his base of his tail isn't wide enough. Although I would like a picture if you could get a clearer one If you shine a flashlight or something on him, it might make it easier to get a picture.

No he's still got 2 ray's only. It is possible he's a combtail, just not the ones that are a perfect split between VT and CT. He's got mostly VT traits here, only the extending ray's are what gives him some CT traits here.
