Has any bought bettaprime on Aqua bid (looking at females for sorrority)

I am interested in your feedback on your experience especially on the health of fish if you bought from them.

Still hoping to hear from someone who has purchased from this breeding. They are in Florida. I would be nice to purchase in the USA less time in transit for the fish.

Sorry, Jada. I haven't bought from them. I got almost all of mine from the seller Hopdiggity, who is an excellent American transshipper. Her females are from Thailand but are already in the States. All the girls arrived in wonderful shape.

So when he ships they've already been in the USA awhile or is he getting his fish from Thailand and breeding them?

If you're talking about hopdiggity, her bettas are imported from Thailand. So when you buy from her you just pay for shipping, and she just sends you the imported bettas. You don't have to worry about transhipping fees. I've looked at some of the females that she's had on Aquabid and they are gorgeous!

I bought the boy in my avatar from hopdiggity. Came to me in great health. I would assume the females would be in good health too since the packing method should be the same.

Yeah, the bettas are imported--she's not a breeder. For a sorority, I liked the notion that the females all came from the same breeder in Thailand, too.

I've got several petstore females some of which may or may not be related they look similar in various ways. I tried to buy most from the same petco that came in around the same time. I know they get their fish from someone in San Diego. They say there is also foreign language writing on the invoice. Since the fish I have may not be related I want to get fish that are also related because I've read at least one post where aquabid sisters ganged up on other fish they were not related. I figure I should avoid siblings under the circumstances based on that post. I want few fish that are not typical in appearance to complete the sorority. In retrospect I probably should have just bought them all on aquabid. I got excited because I mostly see brown looking females in my area and Pecto got a bunch colored ones in so I started buying. I do know other people have started sororities successfully with unrelated fish from petstores so I am keeping my fingers crossed that all will go well.
