Follow up on [Tumor?]

So, I posted a thread a few days ago: http://www.bettafish.com/showthread.php?t=204242&page=2

Regarding my male betta with a large lump on his side.
I'm trying to rule out it being a cyst or an ulcer, and have since put him in a 5 gallon (though only filled up to 3 gallons) hospital tank.

I have a small heater in there, an air stone, and some hornwort plant.
I filled the tank with water conditioned with Prime, though it didn't sit for very long.

I put in the Epsom salt as directed by LittleBlueFishlets.

However, I got a good look at him from the top, and noticed a smaller, but similar bump growing just behind his current one.

Could it still be a tumor to have developed so quickly? Or is it more likely to be a cyst?

I just worry so much about my little guy.

Is it that bump in the original photos behind the tumor-ish bulge?

Both cysts and tumors can basically surface overnight sometimes, sometimes longer but it depends on the situation I believe. Cysts are generally smaller in size though and can come out and go away or sometimes they just stay there like a tumor as well.

Yes. When I first photographed him it wasn't super noticeable and he just ate so I assumed that was just a full belly. It's gotten larger and more noticeable already.

That spot normally bulges out like that. Here's a pic of my 7 month old boy Rembrandt. Note that he also has a bulge and it gets more evident when they don't eat as much, or the day after a fast as this was.

What dosage of Epsom salt is he currently on? (The procedure on the other thread ramps up the dosage over several days.)

Something else that wasn't mentioned are internal parasites. What does his poop look like?
