Question Gulpy bubbles

Has anyone ever had a betta fish that blew large bubbles? like, big gulpy bubbles at the water's surface. it doesnt look like he's gasping for air or anything, its more like he just takes a large swallow and blows a big bubble. is this a reason for concern? also found a small white dot on his back this morning... otherwise he's very active, hasnt been darting, eats normally, not bloated... not sure if i should be alarmed or not.

Is he blowing bubbles all in the same place? My new boy has made 3 bubble nests already :D It's normal for them to blow bubbles, I watch mine do it all the time.

I'd just watch the white spot and make sure it doesn't get bigger or multiply.

Lol, I don't know. Maybe he's just entertaining himself? If he isn't lethargic or otherwise acting strange, I wouldn't worry. I think that's very normal. I'm pretty sure Zenvo blows bubbles to entertain himself.

The white dot, though, is probably more concerning than him blowing bubbles. But like I said, as long as it doesn't grow (into fuzzy fungus-like stuff) or multiply (ich) it's fine.
