new betta

well i got a new male in the mail last night, hes not doing so good though, swimming upside down, laying on his side on the bottom of the tank.

he has no visible sign of disease or illness so im thinking its just stress from being in a hot box for 3 days.. hopefully he bounces back =/

My male that came in the mail had the same problem. Epsom salts helped, but it took him several weeks to get better, it was later determined that he had a fish cold. (my guy came to me just after a snow storm and the mail bag he was in was dumped into a snowdrift until they could empty it - needless to say, his water was very, very cold)

Wow, it must have been a hard, bouncy field trip for him. Do you mind showing pictures of him?
