Ebay heaters?

I'm looking into getting a heater and was looking on ebay, I found some 25w adjustable heaters for sale that are very very cheap like $5 but is from hong kong/china. Has anyone used these?

Here is an example

I probably still get the elite 25 since it has good reviews but I was just wandering. thanks.

One thing to keep in mind about buying things from Hong Kong is that it will take longer for the item to get to you. If you need the heater in the next few days, I'd just get something local or that can have 2 day Prime shipping.

Also be sure to check voltages. Your example needs 220v aka European voltage. US uses 120v. I'd say stick to name brand, then if anything happens you will have a warranty to fall back on. Hagen, Hydor, Eheim or others.

Petmountain sells hydror adjustable hearters for $13 in various wattages. It's more than ebay but a good price for an adjustable heater
