So I woke up to a lot of bubbles on top of the water in one area. Is that a bubble nest? I've never seen one before and I want to make sure that's what it is!! I've only had this betta since Thursday so does that mean he's happy with his new home??
good!! i'm glad they are good! haha, and yes, they are kinda gross- i'm going to do a water change tomorrow! i also have to run to petco- I didn't realize the "thermometer" (the stick on one) needed to be on the outside of the tank...i put it on the inside- do you think that makes a difference? it's been pretty accurate and within a 1-2 degree range- except today bc i left the light on all day by mistake bc i was babysitting...the water is about 83ish... that's not too high is it?
ive read some places as high as 87 is suitable. Ranges from 74-87 are all over the net. From my own experience and an average of what I have seen I would say to try not to go much higher than 85.. of course right around the high 70s or 80ish is perfect... but thats common knowledge now, lol.
