Lightbulb Light bulb suggestions?

So I bought a normal 15 watt light bulb for my Mini Bow 2.5 gallon tank since the one it came with blew out the moment I plugged it in. I'm not sure why it took me this long...but I realize the light bulb makes my water look yellow or otherwise unclean when its not. Doesn't look very appealing in the end. Is there an alternative light bulb or something to make it brighter in the tank and not so yellowish?

LED light bulbs are good to use. Florescent bulbs are also often used, and work well.
