I just noticed today that my crowntail, Kai, has shorter fins than he used to have. He is clearly not infected and there is no fin rot, so maybe he is biting? I'm not sure, though. It must have been going on for a little while, at least, because what made me notice it was looking at the picture thread I posted of Kai's marbling progress. His colors have grown bolder and his attitude has grown feistier, but his fins seems to have... shortened? Could this be from the hardness of my water? I have never had a crowntail who was a tailbiter, but I guess that could be the reason, too... Anyway, I'll fill out the form and post a couple pictures and I'd love to hear you guys weigh in...
