Little one?

My betta, surimi, is only about an inch long and doesn't have long flowing tail like most Crowntails. I am suspecting he will get larger... am i correct in assuming that? if not thats fine, i don't really care, but wouldn't it kinda hint at him just being young...? my other one is like 2 1/2" with a long tail

It sounds like he's pretty young if he's only about an inch long. It will be fun to watch him grow and develop. His fins should get longer as he gets older. :)

and he is already GORGOUS. He is like a bright shiny turquoise and it the right light his body turns lavender *looks prettier than it sounds*

and his fins are *short* compared to my other ones, they are like 3/4 in long...

I have a crowntail, and JC was mini when I got him. Once he started getting fed regular and had room to move around he started to grow.
