getting rid of some of my bettas

I'm going to rehome 4 out of my six bettas and start focusing plakat kois. My question is I have a huge female black orchid crowntail that I got from a family member, she only said she paid a lot for it. How much should I sell her for?

Maybe see if your family member wants her back?

What size tanks do you have and how many fish in them?

I think most female betta fish go for about $15-$20 on Aquabid. Correct me if I'm wrong though.

Yea probably $15 or so, plus shipping which will be $15 for priority, or $30 for overnight.

I have one blue veiltail in a filtered 2.5 gal. and then I have a divided 20 long. My ct is in a gal. critter tank right now cause shes not nice with the other girls. I'll be just rehoming fish and keeping the tanks. Also setting up a 45 gal. for sorority. So in all (1) male vt (1) mixed plakat vt and (1) mixed female possibly vt and then my ct female. I know all but my female ct will just be given away.

I plan on just put them on craigslist being three out of the four are just petco fish, so I'm not planning on shipping any.

Why not keep her? Judging by this thread- http://www.bettafish.com/showthread.php?t=232154 she was never in a proper sorority with more then four females, so that would mean there was no chance for the aggression to be spread out. Once you get the 45 going, with proper filtration and maintenance you can have up to 45 females in there. I would say to just keep your current females and add them to your sorority once you get it set up.

If that is possible sure I'd love to do that. I just didn't know if even I put them in a bigger tank she'd still go after everyone.

Believe me, if you design your sorority properly (5+ girls, heavily planted/decorated, etc) it will probably be fine.
