Hmm well thats where your thermometer comes in handy lol. You dont have to let it sit overnight. You can just fill the bucket,put the condtioner in,throw the thermometer in and wait a bit. I usually make sure the tap is somewhat warm to my touch,so its usually around 78-80. But sometimes its higher so its good to check it. Then put water back in and then fishy. Lol. Its okay to have the new water temp off by 2 degrees higher or lower and put him in. They can handle that,just not more than 2 degrees either way.

NP. Urgh. I just went into my bathroom didnt turn the light on and knocked over my container that had all my test tubes for fishys water in it. Well you can guess what happened lol. I know have one test tube left. Heh.

Oh, no! I guess you'll be buying a new test kit when you pick up the cories?

I guess so lol. But if i recall the other lfs said i can buy just the test tubes from them for like i dunno cheap haha. So ill do that but the one was a bigger tube,measured 10ml rather than 5 like the others. So for that ill have to buy another test kit i guess.

I guess I put the fish in, then put the heater back in, plug it in and turn it on?

Well same deal with the heater as when you first get it. Have to let it acclimate to the water for like 10 minutes. Then plug in,turn on lol.
