trying to feed a varied diet

My Betta eats 2 Wardley Betta Pellets a day. I will also feed him small tropical flakes, brine shrimp, and he will nibble on the algae wafers I drop in for my cory. (not all of this in one day, one day its brine, the other its flakes, etc) Is this a good diet for my betta? What would you reccommend I take out or add to his diet?

I feed mine 2 pellets in the morning and 2 in the evening. I also feed rehydrated freeze dried bloodworms, brine shrimp and I just added freeze dried daphnia to their diet.

I have heard that due to the high vegetable content in most tropical flakes that it can cause bettas to become constipated. I don't have any actual experience with it though.

I feed mine bettamin flakes (although a good pellet is fine too, mine just don't like pellets for some reason) with frozen bloodworms, brineshrimp, and daphnia each weekly. I feed the daphnia after a fast day which I do each week.
