Hmm yeah i give my guy freeze dried daphnia,blood worms,brine shrimp (once a week,one of them),plus his pellets on the other days. I also got this stuff called wardley tropical crumbles. He loves it! It does sink though,so i drop in one at a time so he doesnt have to chase it down lol. My cories love that stuff too. Also good to know about the pea thing. Its like all over the internet to do that,so im sure alot of people do. But after reading dramaqueens thread and the daphnia working on her fish,ill stick with that too!

Its good for bettas to have a varied diet. I guess other fish need a varied diet, too.

Yup! They sure do. Well like all animals including us humans,we all need variety lol. Maybe some animal out there doesnt but all my pets like variety.

Hehe. My boss was telling me today that her son told her he is living off of ramen noodles and mac n cheese. hes like i could eat it everyday! Ummm Id get sick of soup and mac really quick lol.

Well, at least they're cheap. lol I lived off stuff like that when I was in college.And frozen potpies for 50cents apiece. They were generic. lol

Haha. Yeah true. We lived off of those pasta noodles in a packet,ya know like the butter noodles and the like when we was living in a motel. All we had was a microwave so we had to make do lol.

I agree, I feed my little man a combination of Betta Pellets, Brine Shrip, and Blood worms. This more closely replicates their diet in nature

Years ago, for awhile, we had to live off of these things we called "baggies". lol They were boil in bags of sliced turkey, roast beef or chicken.We ate them on a slice of bread with mashed potatoes. I hated those things! Blehh!
