I figure at the moment, as long as they seem happy, and that Sushi is making bubble nests that they are ok for the moment

He'll be fine in his bowl as long as you do your water changes and I'm sure you are. :)

ya... I reccomend craigslist for tanks, gravel, plants, filters, heaters, and sometimes even fish! There if some really cool stuff for A great price! I am so mad I don't have the space to buy this 55 gallon with a filter, heater, plastic plants, hood with light, and water conditioner for only $35!!!!! :( I spent like 3 times that on my 10g tank! lol... anyway, I understand the money problem! I pay for my own fish tanks, and I'm only 13, kinda hard to come up with money!!! lol

yaaa. Sorry that sux! Your bettas do look healthy tho :).. If you wanted to you could just get a tank with no filter! Mine had a 3 gallon with a lid and no filter for awhile and he had some room, it was only $5.. its called a critter keeper, I just added a filter in november..

Veganchick, do you have a heaterin the critter keeper or just the filter? I thought about a heater in my critter keeper but didn't know if it would work in a 1 1/2 gallon. May be too small.

yep I do, it works really well :) There are some heaters that work really well in small tanks, but they can be more expensive.. I got mine at wallmart. Just look around, you might find something. :)
