My betta all the sudden is just laying at the bottom of the tank and her stomach looks bloated. What can I do?

My betta just died! I believe she had dropsy because her stomach got huge and then her scales looked like they were sticking out.

That does sound like dropsy.

I'm truly very sorry :( Best wishes.

I'm so sorry to hear about your betta. :( Yeah, if her scales were raised then it was probably dropsy.

Someone can correct me if I'm wrong but I think dropsy is caused by a bacterial infection and causes kidney failure. Fluid buildup under the skin causes the scales to be raised like a pinecone.
