I'm curious how many plants/decorations I need in a 10 gal Tank. Typically I like a simple look, so I wonder if I need more. I currently have a a 10 gal tank w/ a
and two small amazon sword plants. Also there's a small decor sign that isn't really a good hiding spot or anything, but it's in there. Do I need more plants, and/or how much of the bottom of the tank should I see. I currently have no fish in there, I'm cycling the water currently. But my plan is 1 betta male, 6ish neon tetra, and maybe a red-blue tetra (if it's compatible w/ a betta, no on really seems to know since it's a new fish to have in captivity it seems). From what I understand that neons will be fine w/ the betta since they are quick enough to avoid his initial aggression, than the betta will settle down and leave them alone since he can't catch them and just kind of live w/ them. The red-blue tetra
, from what I understand, will try to school with any fish. My concern is it will try to school with the beta and will get hurt or killed.
