WTB Red Cherry Shrimp

I've been browsing Aquabid and some other sites, and they all seem to sell RCS in huuuuuge bunches. I only need 5-7 (mixed male and female.) I am located in the U.S. I am willing to pay for shipping and whatever you think is fair for the shrimp themselves. I know a lot of people on here keep them, so I thought it was worth a shot. :)

eBay has a lot of auctions for 10 shrimo or fewer.

its a bit hot to be shipping shrimps, i think.

if you live closer i would give you a couple but yea. 80+ degrees in the shrimp bag = dead shrimps.

A lot of sellers use cool packs; or, you can request one. I think the charge is around $1.00.

yea, these are sellers that sell shrimps regularly. Normal people dont exactly have cool packs on hand.

Like i have lots of shrimps, i don't really sell them online. I don't have any cool packs. O.o Pretty sure most of the people with shrimps on this forum is in the same boat.

Not necessarily. I recently purchased shrimp from a guy on another forum who is not a breeder/seller. He was selling shrimp for the first time and he supplied a cool pack for shipment from CA to TN.

We will be in Portage, WI in August. I may have some extra RCS I can bring you if you could meet us.

He's a breeder/selling, hence him selling shrimps. It means he planned on selling his shrimps and thus brought the supplies necessary to ship them.

People that just has shrimps and isn't planning on selling don't have shipping supplies such as cool packs, insulation, breather bags on hand.

I ended up taking the plunge and just ordering 10 from The Shrimp Farm. If I need more come August, I will certainly let you know!!! Do you know when in August? I'm about 50 minutes south of there.

Around August 24.

Make sure your tank has 0 ammonia. Even .25 will kill them. If you want to PM, I'll tell you what I learned...the hard way.
