My Petsmart's bettas are USUALLY in decent condition. Sometimes their cups look like they could use a good cleaning. Meijers' bettas are usually in HORRIBLE condition.

I'm sad cuz my petco usually has happy bettas, but it didn't today!

I hope you can find another betta! Yeah at petco here they are pretty sad and sick looking,petsmart..eh usually they look fine but its hard to tell in that blue water...plus that stuff makes their colors look different...grrr...oh well...i went to the lfs down the road yesterday and got a red/purple betta. yay! No blue water so i could see his colors lol. But there was some annoying like 5-6 year old shaking all the bowls saying wake up fishy! Then there was some other kinda small fish there with a bamboo thingy in it. So the kid picks up the bamboo and starts stabbing it into the water!! Im like you are gonna kill that fish. His mom was right there and said no he just having fun. Uh what?? I said no he gonna kill it. Shes like so its just a fish! Im like then why are you at a fish store??? People!!!

People don't care. Its "just a fish" to them. People need to teach their children not to be mean to animals, whether its a dog, cat or a fish!

Uggg! That is so annoying! I hate it when people do that to any animal! haha people think I'm such an idiot cuz here is a llist of my fav. animals in order
1. COWS!
2. Dogs (nothing weird about that)
3. Pigs
4. Fish!
