Uh, I would have seriously screamed at those people! I have like 0 tolerance for that kind of behavior. What I find weird is that my situation is the complete opposite around here. My Petco usually has spotless cups and beautiful bettas of many tail types, and my Petsmart has dirty, blue cups filled with half-dead veiltails. I have gotten 2 out of the 4 bettas that I have had from Petco, and so far those are the only 2 that have been healthy. I'm getting a giant betta from Petco soon!

Nope, not even close! I just love animals! I like the underdog... the animals most people don't really care about... Same reason my fav. dogs are pit bull mixes

I know that you have a few years yet, to decide what you want to do with your life but are you considering becoming a veterinarian since you love animals so much?

I used to be the same Loved all animals, and wanted to be a vet.

Since then, I have heard that if you absolutely love animals, most don't be a vet. They cannot bare to see injured and sick animals, and do terrible when an animal dies. It just seems like a very stressful job. I know I couldn't do it.

yes, I know Cody. :( But I guess if I can bear to watch earthlings, I can be a vet. Earthlings is sooooo SAD and gruesome! Lets just say I accidentally came upon it when I was little, and well the next day I was a vegan!

It WOULD be hard to be a vet and watch something suffer and know you aren't able to help it. Think of what doctors must go through when they lose patients. I still think it would be a wonderful profession to go into.

Ya, even if you did have to watch suffering animals, you know that you are helping all that you can!
