I have never owned wilds but I have done some research, and IMO spawn size is dependant on the species but it is typically smaller then domesticated splendens.

Splendens complex species can have 100s of fry from one spawning being the most closely related to the domesticated splendens. But most mouthbrooders and the smaller bubblenesters tend to have much less than that.

My Guitar smaragdina spawned and the fry are about a week old(I would have to check my spawn log to be exact)it is like a cloud of fry!
I have no idea how many, when you look in the tank, there are clouds of fry in 4 different spots.
These are from the ones I got from Setsuna.
An interesting side note,in my one Mosquito bucket,I have the smallest wigglers I have seen(not much bigger than a Betta fry)my Imbellis and Plakat fry love them, the Guitars are a little to small to eat them, but give them another week and they will be getting them also.
