Yala

Not sure that name is sounding right, sounds like a girly name? Yala is a place in Thailand. But anyway..here are some new pics of him. The black orchid ct is proving impossible for me to get good pics of.

Don't know how I missed seeing this yesterday. He's quite lovely and I don't think Yala sounds feminine.

Oh thank you for saying that. I am still rolling it around in my head. I was just sitting outside trying to think of something else. I am drawing a blank, but was thinking of something to do with ice/cold/snow. He is pretty shiny. In person he has a blue cast to him.

Ullr or Uller is the Norse God of Ice and Snow (and hunters and archery).

In Greek Mythology, Boreas (the purple-winged god) is the North Wind and associated with winter.

I might change this guy's name as well, and go with my original name for the blue/red plakat that arrives from Indonesia later this month. Thinking of calling this guy Indus, and the blue/red Oletoo which is what the seller called him. I asked him what it meant and he said he was born in Borneo, and in his language it means 'beautiful'.
