I have non-toxic hot glue. It may not hold up as long as silicone, but I just need it to last until I have enough money for actual decor.

hot glue can be safe if it's 100%silicone and is non-toxic non yellowing, if in doubt contact the maker of it and they will tell you, just be ready to work very very fast

As you can see my ice bag in the back..burned once and hurts..a lot.
But i did these two in an hour. Watching movies while doing this helps. i used hot glue, but i'm going to put it in a tank. NOT WITH MY FISH. QT it to see if anything happens. But what i did was take three marbles put two together then do a "W" so it touches the two marbles place one on top so they stick together flip it over once done with that row and glue it together.
