Breather bags and styro lined box for shrimp. Throw in a small piece of moss or something for them to cling to. Don't feed them the day before they ship to purge them. Ship express or priority.HTH

Thanks! I am just hoping and assuming I can keep them alive - after we get some! HA.

Also make sure to instruct buyers how to acclimate properly with a breather bag. They tend to sink below the surface a bit if you float the bag. This makes it no longer a breather, and can smother whatever is in the bag. I just always got them out of the bag and into a cup{just add tank water in increments} or other bag.

A note on the mystery snails - a few of mine after they settled down from being shipped to me have turned purple. They came from a batch of purple parents so -might- turn purple as they grow :)

No DOA on these, I don't have replacements - they are a freebie with plants to give them a good home :) If you don't want snails PM please before tomorrow morning, otherwise you are getting 2 :P

I tried to remove all snails from the plants. I dipped twice but if you do not like snails please dip again.

I like snails a lot so have a few different kinds in my tanks. We fully intend to start a no livestock tank for people who want semi-sterile plants but that will not be for awhile yet.

That's good to remember. I read a nice article about shipping fish that brought that up also. Won't be for months though as it takes shrimp a good while to settle down and actually have babies from what I have read. Tanks are grown out, cycled and ready to support babies! Just got to find a good momma and poppa.

Pandoras received the plants today. They are in excellent condition. The mystery snails are doing great too. Thank you very much, peachii.
