So i moved Surimi over to the new tank yesterday.
He is Sooo much more active now. He seems happier, though he hasn't quite got the hang of chasing the food yet *the filter bubbles up from the bottom, and makes a little current at the top, so it moves the food*
But when i fed him *blood worms yesterday, flakes today* he took much more of an interest in the food than usual, and he doesn't hid every second. I kept the same plant and the same gravel, but everything else is new.
It was really funny though, after i put him in, he swam to the bottom and kinda explored * it didn't put him in shock or anything like i was expecting* and when he had to come up to take a breathe, he was really hesitant to got to the top b/c of the bubbles. He just sat there and watched them, then ventured forward and found out he liked them. lol, it was great.
And he has been seeing his reflection and flaring up, so i left the light on last night, just to see if he would get used to it and realize it wasn't going to hurt him. No such luck. So i just have to remember to turn off the light when it gets dark, unless there is a better way.
So i am thinking that rather than start up a snail tank ATM, i am going to put sushi in the filtered tank, and maybe allow a few snails in, and make sure to keep them down by giving them to the Puffers... i don't know yet. unless that would be unhealthy for Sushi, then i will just put off the puffers till i can get the snails a new tank...?
Im SO happy though! and apparently so is Surimi. X-) Pics tomorrow * i took them, but forgot to bring the cord*
