Hello Again! Reintroduction here.

Well, I have been absent from this forum for a while, but now I am returning! I currently have 1 petco halfmoon marble betta. He started out white with blue spots, but now he is all blue. Unfortunately he has a bit of a tailbiting issue, but its not too bad. I will try to get pics to show you guys. The reason I left the forum originally was that I got into other things - Gouramis, hermit crabs, and guppies. (Funny thing about hermit crabs, they are in the same position as bettas, in that they are sold in way too small containers with bad care sheets, and most of them end up dying in one year, which is sad because they can live 20-30+ years. Anyways, if you want to know more about those, PM me) My amount of bettas has slowly dwindled to one, after they all died of old age. My last one is still young, so he's got 1-2 years left in him.

So, does anyone remember me?

さよなら!

Welcome back. I was wondering if you have put stress coat in his water treatment to calm him down. This would help with the tail-biting issue or it could be your water parameters are off too. Check both of these out

I had a dechlorinator with stress coat, but he was still biting! At this point, I think he would prefer a larger tank perhaps, and I want to get a 5 gallon kritter keeper.
