Finally!

OMG!! my betta, Alfred is finally...... BETTER! I had to get a different tank (4 gallon critter keeper) not use any gravel, All thats in his tank is a cave, and a fake plant. he gets twice a week partial water changes. It was stressfull at first. I treated him with medicine for fin-rot, flukes, and fungis, he looks great, like nothing was ever wrong. he blows large bubble nests all the time, and is a spoiled rotton brat! lol! anyway, just wanted to share he is ALMOST ALL THE WAY recovered! I want to keep his tank barebottom tho cuz I think it won't gather quite as much bactiria.

Oh, yay! Im so happy Alfred is better! Id keep the bare bottom too. Cleaning gravel is a pain!! Cleaning marbles is a pain too....not as bad though...Sand is ...not too bad once you get the hang of it lol....

Thanks! I was getting worried about him! The funny thing is out of all my fish, I have spent the most time and effort on my betta! lol

Lol!I know the feeling....now i have 3 to worry bout haha...Morado seems to be doing better I think...only day 5 of his meds! So we shall see...

Yeah, I worry about mine, too. I did a complete water change (I know, I wouldn't have to go through thhis if I cycled! ) on my 4 gallon and it was more stressful to me than to the fish! lol He was very good about it and didn't show signs of stress or anything. I had a heck of a time catching him. lol I cleaned it, put everything back and put him back in and he was back to normal. :)

Awww...I do a 50% on Morados tank,but once his meds are done Im gonna do a 100% as well cause i added salt to his water...gotta get that out! Well thas good,glad hes back to normal.

I think the warm water HAS made his colors brighter. He's blue, green and red and they seem to stand out more.
