Don't worry! My fish stuff is in my room and not in the kitchen. So no danger of getting turkey basters used for cooking mixed up with turkey basters used for bettas.

Right, and for food, which I forgot, u can feed betta pellets, a pea every once in a while, bloodworms, and daphina... altho he should be fine with just pellets!
