Talking To all of you Betta owners!

How long has your longest living Betta last for? I just really want to know. It can either be alive or passed on. Thank you.........

I had one that lived for 3 years and 5 months. He was probably close to a year old when I got him.

Wow. I hope Fishy(My betta) lives long too! I've had him for a few months.

I'm pretty sure my oldest betta is about four. :) But he doesn't swim around as much. I wonder if that's because of his age? I knew someone who had a really old betta and it hardly swam. I'm not sure, though. I've enjoyed him so much though. If/when he dies I'm going to have to get another one!

mine was 6... he was an odd case.... he was in a cup with another male VT when I bought them..... they didn't fight, but I figured it was best to seperate them, so they each got their own tank, then the got really depressed.... in the end I bought them a 10g to share and they were great together for a really long time! Then one of them died, and Redhot got depressed and died.....

we had one a while back for 3ish years. But it took us 3 dead fish to find one that wasn't sick when we got it home...

the ones i have now... I think i have had them for 3ish months... I signed up on here right before or right after i got my fishies, and have been on here since Janurary... so somewhere in there.

The one I had for 3 and a half years lived in a half gallon vase (before I knew any better) and never had any health problems.
