It definitely IS contagious. lol I also think it is transferred over the internet, kind of like a computer virus. And you can also catch it by walking past the betta section at your lfs. The bettas will call your name! lol

yes they say come save me!! then it never ever ends...till we are sleeping out in our cars cause our house is full of betta tanks LOL

Its really a shame that bettas can't live together. That would cut down on the amount of tanks/bowls/containers we have to have to accommodate them.lol

lol! I only wish it was contagious to family members, too! My whole family thinks my fish are a waist of money, well actaully, my mom really liked my mystery snail (then I killed it... whoops) but knowonw really gets the betta bug in my familY! oh well, I was thinking of getting my little bro a betta fish for his b-day..... then maybe it will spread! lol! He loves my fish!

Family members seem to be immune. lol Except for fishyinpa's Mom. She might have gotten the bug. lol

haha..yeah...my mom is the exception! i just changed elvis' water..gave him a new plant and a bridge similiar to morados...:)

I bet he'll like his new decor. I wish my mom was an animal lover. She doesn't really hate animals, she doesn't want any in the house making messes. Fish don't make messes unless you accidently spill their water on the floor. lol

haha true...some moms are like that i guess...i sure hope he likes it! Lil goober. i got him a background too,meant for a 10 but i cut it to size. its dark blue they had no black....so hope that helps with his constant flaring...oh and morado flared! He hasnt done that in awhile. So im sure hes feeling loads better now. yay!

Well, Elvis better appreciate all the neat stuff you got for him. lol I don't think they flare much when they don't feel good. I'm glad Morado is on the road to recovery. :)
