Oh. I think putting the new water in a tank bucket, then adding in conditioner, and then pouring in the tank is best. That's what I do. (:

It says how much to use not how long until it's done.

GoldenB,

your conditioner should work in seconds. Pour the tap water into a just, add drops of conditioner and add to your tank.

I used to used Tetra, but switched to Prime -- much easier since it's concentrated.
