I really think you should remove the pleco. A 1 gallon is way too small for a pleco.

Um yeah..plecos got HUGE..like a foot long...so he needs a big tank...or take him back...

1 gallon is really to small for a betta, let alone having a betta AND a 3-4" Pleco. That may be scaring your betta, not having enough room to function...

he seems to be fine since the pleco is on the ground most of the time. im going to buy a different tank for him. people told me he grows according to his environment. so he is not going to get THAT long

Uh yeah dont trust lfs people lol. Plecos do and will get big. Its a myth that they grow to the size of their enviroment. he will definetly get big,way bigger than for a 1 gallon tank.

Ok. Thanks, appreciate it. What size of tank would you suggest? I am going to keep him with the Betta until he is about 7-8" I think.

Ok wow. I'll have to find someone who takes it. I'm moving to Europe and I'm not going to buy a 55 gallon tank for him. Can I give it back to Wal Mart?
