and just for the record, the shrimp aren't near as boring as i suspected they would be... I mean who wants a shrimp? but they are actually rather cool

I don't understand how you mean? If the pleco scares the betta, the betta is affected. It is afraid! and it will be afraid for the entire rest of his life. Do you want to live in fear?

you should prly get rid of the pleco now.... you could either give it back to the petstore or give it away on craigslist, or someone you know that has a large enough tank. Shrimp are SUPER cool, but remeber some bettas eat them!

yes but the shrimp are like $.26 so its not really a huge investment...

Its no big deal if the betta eats them. It would just be a nice snack for the betta! lol

i have a 10 gallon tank im about to cycle, and was considering 3 cories, but i might go with a bunch of shrimp now, but have a couple questions

1 do u have to feed the shrimp, i assume no they eat algae or somthing and
2 will they make babies in my tank :P
