My Boy is now a Man!

Surimi made me a bubblenest! It was about the size of a 50 cent piece. Not huge, but its his first one! and he was still working on it later that night. Lol he really was proud to, he kept flaring at me, swimming around then going under the bubblenest and staring up...lol!

He likes it when i leave the light on since it warms up his tank. I had to turn it off though since i left town till tomorrow... i really hope he doesn't decide to eat the shrimp... that would really suck...lol, we will see. I fed them when we left, and put some more in than they will eat for the shrimp...

But i was SOOO completely excited...

EH, If they aren't, they are like $.26 each. And Surimi is kinda afraid of them. Leaves them alone for the most part. Sushi may try to attack them... who knows...

By my mom couldn't figure out why i was like jumping up and down b/c my fish blew some bubbles that looked like spit and the best part is I could see a little on the side and was excited, but then when i opened up the lid, it was like way huger than i though! sooo happy!

Yeah, I hope the shrimp are ok but if not, he had himself a nice snack. lol The bubblenest may be bigger when you get home. Yeah, people can't understand why we get excited over a bunch of bubbles.

Well the best part was that it was his first one. He even seems to LIKE the filter, while Sushi hated it...?

Yeah, they're all different. Some like filters and some don't.

if they live with it long enough do they get used to the filter? i just set up my new tank, but have to wait for a friend that ows me 10 bucks so i can get an ammonia test kit in order to cycle it. i have the whisper i10 filter, and im wondering one thing, it doesnt appear to creat much current from sucking in water but when it pores back out tit moves the plant near it around a bit.

every filter is going to make some current. kinda depends on your fish if they will get used to it or not. Surimi loves the current while sushi hates it...?

oh and at least 4 out of 5 shrimp are alive. Didnt' see the other one, but that doesn't mean much
