Fish sits on bottom?

I recently purchased three male bettas all in seperate tanks...i was wondering what it means when they seem to want to just just on the decor rocks at the bottom of the tank mind you the water is clean and the temp in the high 70's. Thanks so much for your help!

My beta does that as well and I just picked him up yesterday. It looks like it is depressed, it just sits there, out of the light if it can, and just chills. I have this same problem, if you could call it that. Not sure if that is just how ours are.

If it is just sitting for short periods of time then it's ok but if it sits for long periods of time, something could be wrong.

Try checking water Parimeters, the temp of the water, and some bettas don't like bright lights. If you recently got them, don't worry to much about their behavior, usually its just a sign of settling in, and adjustment period that could take up to 2 weeks for them to get over.

Anyother symptoms?

It sounds normal to me unless it sits for a really long time without moving at all.

Yea, some bettas are really active, others aren't... My bettas for example. But if you just got them, i bet you anything they are just in an adjustment period. They may have no appetite also in this adjustment period.
