We have all lost bettas. It is the circle of life. People, pets, etc all come and go. I have lost about 9 bettas in 7 months. I have lost 2 bettas within the past 2 weeks alone. Like TankDiveGirl said, we need clearer pictures to be able to help you. Blurry ones won't tell us anything. We know how you feel on losing bettas and not knowing what to do.

The ONLY way we can help you with your fish, is if you stay level headed and answer the questions posed in a timely, full and accurate manner.

You need to fill this out:

Housing
What size is your tank?
What temperature is your tank?
Does your tank have a filter?
Does your tank have an air stone or other type of aeration?
Is your tank heated?
What tank mates does your betta fish live with?

Food
What type of food do you feed your betta fish?
How often do you feed your betta fish?

Maintenance

How often do you perform a water change?
What percentage of the water do you change when you perform a water change?
What type of additives do you add to the water when you perform a water change?

Water Parameters:
Have you tested your water? If so, what are the following parameters?

Ammonia:
Nitrite:
Nitrate:
pH:
Hardness:
Alkalinity:

Symptoms and Treatment
How has your betta fish's appearance changed?
How has your betta fish's behavior changed?
When did you start noticing the symptoms?
Have you started treating your fish? If so, how?
Does your fish have any history of being ill?
How old is your fish (approximately)?

I understand being upset and worried, but being upset and worried doesn't solve problems. I've dealt with sick horses, dogs, Betta, cats, guinea pigs, etc.. you name I've probably dealt with it sick. Some live, some die, but the only way I can give them a fighting chance is to remain calm. And, you'll have to learn to do the same.

ETA: Are these the same fish you have going in another thread on this forum? It's confusing if you create multiple threads about the same fish. It makes it a lot easier for us if you keep it to one thread. At least within the same couple days.

What size is your tank? smaller than 2.5. I moved him from a 2.5 cause he has been going downhill.

MATTHEW:

Food
What type of food do you feed your betta fish? betta bio gold and tried feeding him Omega one like several people said to do

How often do you feed your betta fish? He will not eat tried to feed him again today.

Maintenance

How often do you perform a water change? Just changed his water

What type of additives do you add to the water when you perform a water change? They all get aqua safe

Symptoms and Treatment
How has your betta fish's appearance changed? Got brown black on his tail and fins

How has your betta fish's behavior changed? He is refusing to eat anything at all

When did you start noticing the symptoms? Maybe a month or so

Have you started treating your fish? If so, how? Tried Aquasalt and hasn't seemed to help at all

Does your fish have any history of being ill? Not that I know of

ESAU:

Same food as Matthew has

His whole face is fatter than his body, has black on the bottom of his gill thingys, swimming sideways and when he swims the right way he swimming is very strange. Not sure what shimming mean but I think he might be doing that.

Feeling so Helpless watching them suffering!!!!

Hi Sassyfriend,

I see you have this thread and another one here: http://www.bettafish.com/showthread.php?t=232282

Since that other thread has more posts, as well as advice from Anhel, I am going to reply there too.
