Do Betta eat shrimp?

I got 3 shrimp a week ago and now they are no where to be found (unless they are under the cave).

Are they hiders, or is it more likely that Jovi ate them as a snack, he did look a little plump a few days ago (and I put him on a diet, now he is good).

Thanks!

Well its hard to say if your betta ate your shrimp, but if you cant find them, that might be the case......I would think it would depend on the particular betta.....Some like nothing near them, others can tolerate all different fish with them....IMO, it all depends on the individual fish..............Shrimp are really good at hiding, so i would check under your cave just so you know
