Anyone have this tank?? I need a new light!

http://www.petsmart.com/product/inde...AvailInUS%2FNo

This tank comes with a special LED light fixture. It has a white light, and then 3 different shades of blue lights. Most of them have gone out, and now I can't find a light to replace it. Anyone know what I can do?

I have it, I'm done cycling it actually. I'm afraid there aren't any replacements, or any bulbs that screw in, in that matter. That's why I'm getting a clamp CFL.

Sorry. :/

Did you contact PetSmart? I believe Top Fin is manufactured for them. My Hawkeye kit's manual had a list of replacement parts...including the LED hood.

Russell, I would, but I really don't want another like it since it won't last long either. I've read a few reviews, and a lot of people complain about the light.

LTB, what is a CFL?

It's a compact florescent light.Well, I think that's what it's called. lol

I suppose it's just light with a kelvin rate of 5000k-10000k. I'm not sure, I'm just saying light names. ^^" I think I just said that because I'm buying plants, I don't know. Sorry. ): Do you want a link on what I'm going to buy?

Yup, compact flourescent. It's the best thing for growing plants if you get the right wattage and k. Lots of people know way more about it, ask aokashi if you need more info.

I'm sorry; I thought you were asking how to get a new hood.

SkyeWillow made some nifty covers out of craft mesh. I'm sure others have, too, but she comes to mind.
