frozen bloodworm question

Ok. So i want to chop up some frozen bloodworms for my wee ones to see if they are interested yet.

How the heck do you chop these things up? maybe my knife is just super dull or something but its just... mushing it more than cutting.

this is so gross ><

its probably easier while its still frozen. maybe if i spread it out thin in a plastic bag and refreeze?

Can also try coffee grinder.. sometimes I'll toss a mix of frozen food in the coffee grinder to help cut it up - will still get some larger pieces, but it will help.
