Where do you buy your RCS?

I have called every local pet store in my city (and I live in a pretty good sized city - there's around half a million people in my metro area) and no one has RCS . They have all sorts of other breeds of shrimp, but no RCS. I would like RCS, but I'm about to settle for ghosties. I love ghosties, but I wanted some color in this NPT.

Beautiful, healthy, bright red. I will buy from Matt again. Plus, who can beat 20+ for $24 which includes shipping?

I've called all of them in the phonebook. I spent the day on the phone. Only one store even carries them, and they're out. That same store is out of everything I was asking about and they didn't know when they'd get anything in.

Ouch. :(

I guess you'll just have to wait, are you able to reserve a few when their shipments come in?

I prefer to buy directly from breeders. The shrimp only transfer once and aren't put in tanks where there may be disease and/or bad parameters.

However, if wanting smaller amounts, then local is a much better and cheaper option. Maybe, like LabronTheBetta suggested, they'll let you order.

I'll probably purchase from the person you recommended. I'm in the process of setting up the tank though, so hopefully he will still have some available next week. It's going to be a low-light NPT, but I'm going to use some fast growing plants to set it up and silently cycle it.
