I purchased my first Betta last night from Walmart. As well as a 1.5 gallon tank. Meet Cosmo, he's quite the happy lil fish and is just swimming around! Hoping to get some neat little thing for him to hide in. Walmarts selection wasn't all that great. Does anyone know if there are heaters that are for 1.5 gallon tanks specifically?


The photo is from right after I brought him home. I tell ya I can't believe they think its ok to put the lil guys in just a cup :( He definately likes his 1.5 gallon tank better! Post photos of tank after I get it all to my liking :)

Cool colors. I'm sure he'll look even better after he's been in his tank a while. I got a new betta a little while ago and once I put him in his tank he looks so much brighter! Can't wait to see more pictures.

He looks like a very nice betta, Would like to see more pictures after he's been in his new home a few days, I bet he gets brighter and more vibrant looking..

I rarely ever see these coloring at my Walmart here, they seem to all be blues or greens,
I watch every shipment in and if a pretty one came I scoop it right up.. I'd love to have that guy!

I went snap happy with my camera earlier today.... Cosmo didnt seem to mind one bit! He definately brightened up =)

Wow! He looks like a whole new fish already! As much as I hate to support Walmart (and their treatment of live animals) I almost want to get mine from there just to 'rescue' it and watch his transformation.
