We had a storm yesterday and the power was out last night, I lost most of m fish :/ The only betta I have left is old little alfred who doesn't look too good. My guppies, cherry barbs, shrimp, and white clouds all made it through, too, luckily. Poor Dixie and Stark and ottos and blue ram, and neons! :(((((((((((((

I don't understand. I've had my power go out several times for long periods, and not lost anything.

I'm confused, This is tragic! Awful, Horrible! I felt sick reading this.

Is your house really cold when the the power/heater goes out or something.

it was REALLY cold for April (like snow cold) and the power went out so the house was freezing. Most of my tanks were too large to move into the room with the fireplace, and m room got really cold. I tried everything I could to kep them all warm, but I just couldn't help them all. :(

Thanks guys. I'm kinda bummed, too!! I need to set up an alternative tank or 2 just in case this is ever gonna happen again! I was so freaked out, and sad! Still am sad!
